\begin{paneabstract}
PANE Journal of Physics Education is the education journal of the Physics Academy of the North East (PANE). It is a peer-reviewed e-journal devoted to publishing original, high-quality research articles on the teaching and learning of physics. The journal features contributions on classroom and laboratory instruction, original pedagogical insights into derivations in classical and modern physics, apparatus notes, and historical or cultural perspectives. The overarching aim is to sustain and enhance the quality of physics education in colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher education.

\section{Introduction}
\label{sec1}
One of the most celebrated examples of a pedagogical paper in physics is the work of S. N. Bose, in which he presented an alternative derivation of Planck’s theory of black-body radiation \cite{1}. This seminal article became a landmark in the development of quantum statistics. Subsequently, fundamental particles were categorised into two broad classes, one of which was named bosons in honour of S. N. Bose. The work also laid the foundation for predicting Bose–Einstein condensation at low temperature and for understanding phenomena such as superfluidity \cite{2}.

\bigskip
\noindent
The Physics Academy of the North East (PANE) [the details are given in appendix \ref{appen1}], places strong emphasis on physics education and pedagogy. In keeping with this objective, PANE publishes the PANE Journal of Physics Education, which is dedicated exclusively to pedagogical articles. Such articles are written primarily with the aim of improving teaching practices and enhancing conceptual clarity.

\section{Information about the Journal}
\label{sec2}
PANE Journal of Physics Education is the education journal of the Physics Academy of the North East (PANE). It is a peer-reviewed e-journal devoted to publishing original, high-quality articles on the teaching and learning of physics. The scope of the journal includes classroom and laboratory instruction, innovative pedagogical approaches, original derivations in classical and modern physics, apparatus notes, and historical or cultural perspectives relevant to physics education.

\subsection{Details about the Journal}
\label{subs2.1}
The PANE Journal of Physics Education is published by the Physics Academy of the North East (PANE) with the objective of providing a high-quality scholarly outlet dedicated exclusively to physics pedagogy. The journal commenced publication in 2026 and follows a biannual publication schedule, with two issues released each year. This periodicity allows for timely dissemination of pedagogical developments while ensuring a rigorous peer-review process. The primary details of the journal are summarised in Table.

\noindent
The PANE Journal of Physics Education, as an official publication of the Physics Academy of the North East, adheres to a consistent and recognisable standard. The journal uses the official logo of PANE in its publications to denote to affirm its status as an authorised academic outlet of the Academy. The inclusion of the logo serves to underscore the journal’s credibility and its alignment with the objectives of PANE.

\section{Conclusions}
\label{sec3}
The PANE Journal of Physics Education is an education-focused journal devoted to improving the teaching and understanding of physics. Articles prepared using LaTeX are preferable. However, articles prepared in Microsoft- Word format are also acceptable. While the inclusion of figures and tables has already been illustrated, all mathematical equations in the journal should be properly formatted and numbered, as demonstrated below.

\begin{equation}
    (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2
    \label{CLY}
\end{equation}

\bigskip
\noindent
By providing a dedicated platform for high-quality pedagogical articles, the journal seeks to support physics educators and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of physics education.

The Physics Academy of the North East (PANE) stands as the largest and one of the oldest science academies in Northeast India. PANE is the brainchild of a group of distinguished physicists from the region, that was conceived during a gathering at IIT Guwahati on November 11, 1997, commemorating the centenary of the electron’s discovery. PANE was officially inaugurated on April 6, 1998. The academy’s headquarters were established at IIT Guwahati. The academy is registered under societies registration act since June 29, 2000.
